Bogdan beats Fernandez in Cleveland first round

Romanian qualifier Ana Bogdan beat Canadian Leylah Fernandez, the second seed, 1-6, 7-6 (2), 6-2 to reach the second round of the Cleveland Open at Jacobs Pavilion on Tuesday evening.
Bogdan, ranked No 103, will face Belgian lucky loser Greet Minnen next.
