Belarusian Victoria Azarenka, the No 4 seed, won against Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska 6-4, 6-0 to advance to the last 16 of the Citi Open on Tuesday.
The former world No 1, who turned 33 years old on July 31st, will next meet Czech Tereza Martincova, who defeated China’s Xinyu Wang 0-6, 6-4, 6-4.
