Daria Kasatkina won against Ekaterina Alexandrova 6-4, 6-2 on Tuesday and will face the winner of the match between wildcard Caroline Dolehide and qualifier Taylor Townsend in the next round

No 9 seed Daria Kasatkina advanced to the second round of the Western & Southern Open by defeating Ekaterina Alexandrova 6-4, 6-2 at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Cincinnati on Tuesday.
Kasatkina, ranked No 12, will face the winner of the match between wildcard Caroline Dolehide and qualifier Taylor Townsend next.
