China Open: Sramkova advances to third round
Rebecca Sramkova won against Ekaterina Alexandrova 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 on Friday and will face Spaniard Paula Badosa, the No 15 seed, in the next round
Slovak qualifier Rebecca Sramkova won against Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, the No 22 seed, 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 to advance to the third round of the China Open at the National Tennis Center in Beijing on Friday.
Sramkova, ranked No 61, will face Spaniard Paula Badosa, the No 15 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, the Slovak beat Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina (6-4, 6-0).
