China Open: Keys through to third round
The American won against Sara Sorribes Tormo 6-2, 6-1 on Saturday. She’ll face Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia next

American Madison Keys, the No 18 seed, reached the third round of the China Open by winning against Spanish qualifier Sara Sorribes Tormo 6-2, 6-1 at the National Tennis Center in Beijing on Saturday.
Keys, ranked No 24, will play Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia, the No 13 seed, next.
Sorribes Tormo, ranked No 104, edged out Chinese wildcard Xinyu Gao (6-7 (4), 7-5, 7-5) in the previous round of the Beijing tournament.
