China Open: Kalinskaya beats Baptiste in second round marathon
The Russian will face the winner of the match between Leylah Fernandez and Peyton Stearns in the next round

Russian Anna Kalinskaya, the No 10 seed, reached the third round of the China Open by edging out American qualifier Hailey Baptiste 3-6, 7-6 (2), 7-6 (5) at the National Tennis Center in Beijing on Friday.
Kalinskaya and Baptiste were locked in for nearly three hours as the former completed the comeback on the back of four break points and three aces.
Kalinskaya, ranked No 14, will play the winner of the match between Canadian Leylah Fernandez, the No 20 seed, and American Peyton Stearns next.
Baptiste, ranked No 111, defeated Frenchwoman Varvara Gracheva (6-0, 6-3) in the previous round of the Beijing tournament.
