China Open: Badosa makes third round
The Spaniard beat Viktoriya Tomova in straight sets on Friday

Spaniard Paula Badosa, the No 15 seed, won against Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova 6-3, 6-2 to advance to the third round of the China Open at the National Tennis Center in Beijing on Friday.
Badosa, ranked No 19, will play the winner of the match between Slovak qualifier Rebecca Sramkova and Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, the No 22 seed, next.
Tomova, ranked No 51, beat Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko (6-3, 6-3) in the previous round of the Beijing tournament.
