China Open: Bektas bows out in first round
Elina Avanesyan beat Emina Bektas 6-2, 7-5 on Wednesday and will play No 33 seed Caroline Dolehide in the next round
Armenian Elina Avanesyan advanced to the second round of the China Open by winning against American lucky loser Emina Bektas 6-2, 7-5 at the National Tennis Center in Beijing on Wednesday.
Avanesyan, ranked No 47, will play No 33 seed Caroline Dolehide next.
