Estonian Kaia Kanepi won against Russian Margarita Betova 6-2, 6-1 to advance to the last 16 of the Chicago Women’s Open on Monday evening.
Kanepi, ranked No 135, will play the winner of the match between Frenchwoman Diane Parry, the No 7 seed, and Swede Rebecca Peterson next.
