Charleston Open: Fruhvirtova advances to second round
Linda Fruhvirtova beat Jil Teichmann 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 on Monday afternoon. She’ll face the winner of the match between American wildcard Caroline Dolehide and German qualifier Sabine Lisicki in the next round
Czech Linda Fruhvirtova beat Swiss Jil Teichmann, the No 14 seed, 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 to reach the second round of the Charleston Open at the Family Circle Tennis Center on Monday afternoon.
Fruhvirtova, ranked No 60, will play the winner of the match between American wildcard Caroline Dolehide and German qualifier Sabine Lisicki next.
