Dane wildcard Caroline Wozniacki won against American lucky loser Mccartney Kessler 6-0, 6-1 to reach the second round of the Charleston Open at the Family Circle Tennis Center on Monday.
Wozniacki, ranked No 126, will face No 15 seed Anhelina Kalinina next – the woman who knocked her out in Miami.
