Australian qualifier Daria Saville advanced to the second round of the Charleston Open by winning against German Tamara Korpatsch 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 at the Family Circle Tennis Center on Monday.
Saville, ranked No 108, will play No 7 seed Elina Svitolina next.
