Charleston Open: Linette beats Gracheva in three sets, plays Keys in last 16
The Australian Open semi-finalist defeated Varvara Gracheva 6-7 (3), 7-5, 6-4 on Wednesday

Poland’s Magda Linette, the No 8 seed, moved into the last 16 of the Charleston Open by edging out Russian Varvara Gracheva 6-7 (3), 7-5, 6-4 at the Family Circle Tennis Center on Wednesday.
Linette, ranked No 19 in the world and a semi-finalist at the Australian Open in January, will face No 9 seed Madison Keys next.
In the previous round of the Charleston tournament, Gracheva, ranked No 46, beat German qualifier Anna-Lena Friedsam (7-6 (3), 6-2) while Linette received a first round bye
