Charleston Open: Kasatkina overcomes bagel to reach last 16

Russian Daria Kasatkina, the No 4 seed, defeated American Ashlyn Krueger 6-3, 0-6, 6-1 to move into the last 16 of the Charleston Open at the Family Circle Tennis Center on Wednesday night.
Kasatkina, ranked No 11, will face Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina, the No 15 seed, next.
In the previous round of the Charleston tournament, Krueger, ranked No 73, won against Romanian qualifier Gabriela Lee (7-6, 6-3).
