Charleston Open: Former champ Kasatkina moves into quarters, plays Keys next
The 2017 champion defeated Bernarda Pera 6-3, 7-6 (3) on Thursday

Russian Daria Kasatkina, the No 3 seed, beat American Bernarda Pera 6-3, 7-6 (3) to reach the last eight of the Charleston Open at the Family Circle Tennis Center on Thursday.
Kasatkina, ranked No 8 in the world and the 2017 champion in Charleston, will American Madison Keys, the No 9 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, the Russian won against American Madison Brengle (6-2, 6-1).
Pera, ranked No 38, won against Claire Liu (6-4, 6-7 (1), 6-3) and Spaniard Cristina Bucsa (6-3, 6-4) in the previous rounds of the Charleston tournament.
