Charleston Open: Third seed Kasatkina makes last 16

Russian Daria Kasatkina, the No 3 seed, advanced to the last 16 of the Charleston Open by beating American Madison Brengle 6-2, 6-1 at the Family Circle Tennis Center on Wednesday evening.
Kasatkina, ranked No 8, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Cristina Bucsa and American Bernarda Pera next.
Brengle, ranked No 92, won against Estonian Kaia Kanepi (6-3, 6-4) in the previous round of the Charleston tournament.
