Charleston Open: Badosa books spot in second round

Spaniard Paula Badosa, the No 12 seed, beat Egyptian Mayar Sherif 6-3, 6-1 to move into the second round of the Charleston Open at the Family Circle Tennis Center on Tuesday.
Badosa, ranked No 33, will play the winner of the match between Canadian Leylah Fernandez and Russian Evgeniya Rodina next.
