Charleston Open 125: Wang books spot in second round
Yafan Wang won against Mai Hontama 7-6 (6), 6-4 on Tuesday evening and will face Italian Sara Errani in the next round

Chinese Yafan Wang, the No 6 seed, beat Japanese lucky loser Mai Hontama 7-6 (6), 6-4 to advance to the second round of the Charleston Open 125 at the Family Circle Tennis Center on Tuesday evening.
Wang, ranked No 66, will face Italian Sara Errani next.
