Catalonia Open: Siniakova fights back against Krueger to reach last four
Katerina Siniakova beat Ashlyn Krueger 2-6, 6-2, 6-1. She’ll play the winner of the match between Camila Osorio and Magdalena Frech in the next round

Second seed Katerina Siniakova defeated American Ashlyn Krueger 2-6, 6-2, 6-1 to move into the semi-finals of the Catalonia Open.
Siniakova, ranked No 40, will face the winner of the match between Colombian Camila Osorio, the No 7 seed, and Pole Magdalena Frech, the No 4 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, Katerina Siniakova beat American Alycia Parks (6-2, 6-4) and Lina Gjorcheska (6-2, 6-2).
Krueger, ranked No 70, won against Greek qualifier Martha Matoula (6-2, 6-1) and edged out No 6 seed Sofia Kenin (6-3, 5-7, 7-5) in the previous rounds.
