Lauren Davis edged out Viktoriya Tomova (6-2, 2-6, 7-5) on Thursday afternoon and will face Colombian Camila Osorio in the next round.

American Lauren Davis, the No 3 seed, moved into the quarter-finals of the Catalonia Open by edging out Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova 6-2, 2-6, 7-5 on Thursday.
Davis, ranked No 56, will play Colombian Camila Osorio next.
The American defeated Austrian Julia Grabher (6-2, 7-6 (4)) in the previous round.
During the 32, Tomova, ranked No 73, edged out Dane Clara Tauson (4-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4).
