Cali Open: Top seed Osorio advances to quarter-finals
The Colombian will meet the winner of the match between Hungarian Panna Udvardy and Latvian Darja Semenistaja, the No 7 seed, in the next round

Colombian Camila Osorio, the top seed, reached the quarter-finals of the Cali Open by winning against Italian Nuria Brancaccio 7-6 (6), 4-6, 6-2 on Wednesday.
Osorio, ranked No 64, will face the winner of the match between Hungarian Panna Udvardy and Latvian Darja Semenistaja, the No 7 seed, next.
The 22-year-old Colombian defeated Argentinian Martina Capurro Taborda (6-2, 7-5) in the previous round.
Earlier in the week. Brancaccio, ranked No 216, beat Frenchwoman Kristina Mladenovic (6-4, 6-3).
