Slovak Veronika Erjavec beat Hungarian Panna Udvardy 6-3, 6-2 to advance to the final of the Cali Open.
Erjavec, ranked No 199, will play Romanian Irina-Camelia Begu, the second seed, next.
The Slovak won against Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet, the No 4 seed (6-2, 6-2), Francesca Jones (7-6 (3), 5-0 ret.) and Argentinian Jazmin Ortenzi (6-0, 6-3) ahead of her victory.
In the previous rounds, Udvardy, ranked No 146, defeated Ukrainian Katarina Zavatska (6-2, 6-0), Latvian Darja Semenistaja, the No 7 seed (4-6, 6-4, 6-2) and Colombian Camila Osorio, the top seed (6-4, 6-2).
