Hungarian Panna Udvardy, the No 7 seed, reached the last 16 of the Bolivia Open by winning against German Noma Noha Akugue 6-3, 6-1 on Tuesday.
Udvardy, ranked No 157, will play Slovak Veronika Erjavec next.
