Bolivia Open: Udvardy moves into last 8
Panna Udvardy defeated Veronika Erjavec 6-4, 6-3 on Wednesday and will face the winner of the match between Brazilian Laura Pigossi, the No 4 seed, and Croat Tara Wurth in the next round
Hungarian Panna Udvardy, the No 7 seed, defeated Slovak Veronika Erjavec 6-4, 6-3 to reach the last eight of the Bolivia Open on Wednesday.
Udvardy, ranked No 157, will face the winner of the match between Brazilian Laura Pigossi, the No 4 seed, and Croat Tara Wurth next.
Ahead of her victory, the Hungarian won against German Noma Noha Akugue (6-3, 6-1).
Erjavec, ranked No 181, won against Argentinian Jazmin Ortenzi (6-2, 6-0) in the previous round.
