Romanian Anca Todoni, the No 6 seed, won against Argentinian wildcard Sol Ailin Larraya Guidi 6-3, 6-2 to move into the last 16 of the Bolivia Open on Monday night.
Todoni, ranked No 138, will play the winner of the match between American Carson Branstine and Dutchwoman Anouk Koevermans next.
