Bogota Open: Zidansek books spot in last 8, faces Stearns next

Slovenian Tamara Zidansek defeated Swede Mirjam Bjorklund 7-6 (3), 7-6 (3) to advance to the quarter-finals of the Bogota Open at the Country Club Bogota on Thursday.
Zidansek, ranked No 110, will face American Peyton Stearns next.
In the previous round of the Colombia Open, the Slovenian won against Hungarian Reka Luca Jani (6-0, 6-1).
Bjorklund, ranked No 133, edged out Belgian Elise Mertens, the top seed (6-1, 4-6, 7-6 (3)) in the first round of the Colombia Open.
