Mexican Renata Zarazua advanced to the second round of the Bogota Open by defeating Colombian wildcard Mariana Isabel Higuita Barraza 6-0, 6-0 at the Country Club Bogota on Monday.
Zarazua, ranked No 103, will play the winner of the match between Colombian wildcard Valentina Mediorreal Arias and Russian Kamilla Rakhimova, the No 8 seed, next.
