Serb qualifier Natalija Stevanovic won against Spaniard Marina Bassols Ribera 7-6 (1), 7-5 to reach the second round of the Bogota Open at the Country Club Bogota on Monday.
Stevanovic, ranked No 224, will play Brazilian Laura Pigossi, the No 6 seed, next.
