German Tatjana Maria, the second seed, advanced to the second round of the Bogota Open by winning against Hungarian Anna Bondar 6-3, 6-2 at the Country Club Bogota on Tuesday evening.
Maria, ranked No 46, will play the winner of the match between Colombian Emiliana Arango and Argentinian Julia Riera next.
