Italian Sara Errani reached the second round of the Bogota Open by winning against Ukrainian Yulia Starodubtseva 6-2, 7-6 (5) at the Country Club Bogota on Tuesday evening.
Errani, ranked No 117, will face Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo, the No 3 seed, next.
