Kazakh Yulia Putintseva won against Frenchwoman Clara Burel 6-3, 6-4 to move into the last 16 of the Birmingham Open at Edgbaston Priory Club.

Putintseva, ranked No 41, will play the winner of the match between No 4 seed Katie Boulter and Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina next.
