Bernarda Pera won against Marie Bouzkova 6-4, 7-6 (3) on Monday afternoon and will play the winner of the match between Ukrainian wildcard Elina Svitolina and Czech Linda Fruhvirtova in the next round

American Bernarda Pera, the No 6 seed, defeated Czech Marie Bouzkova 6-4, 7-6 (3) to move into the last 16 of the Birmingham Classic at Edgbaston Priory Club on Monday afternoon.
Pera, ranked No 27, will face the winner of the match between Ukrainian wildcard Elina Svitolina and Czech Linda Fruhvirtova next.
