No 5 seed Marketa Vondrousova advanced to the last 16 of the Berlin Open by defeating Spanish qualifier Rebeka Masarova 6-4, 6-3 at Rot-Weiss Tennis Club.
Vondrousova, ranked No 6, will play Russian Anna Kalinskaya next.
