Berlin Open: Top seed Jabeur to meet Gauff in semi-finals

Tunisian Ons Jabeur, the top seed, reached the semi-finals of the Berlin Open by defeating Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich 6-7 (3), 6-2, 6-2 at Rot-Weiss Tennis Club on Friday evening.
Jabeur, ranked No 4, will face American Coco Gauff, the No 7 seed, next.
In the previous rounds, the Tunisian won against Czech Karolina Muchova (6-3, 6-3) and American qualifier Alycia Parks (6-2, 7-6 (8)).
Sasnovich, ranked No 38, won against Russian qualifier Anastasia Gasanova (6-2, 4-6, 6-3) and German Andrea Petkovic (6-4, 6-4) earlier in the tournament.
