Berlin Open: Kvitova races into last eight, plays Garcia next
Petra Kvitova won against Nadia Podoroska 6-1, 6-1 on Wednesday evening and will face Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia, the No 3 seed, in the next round

Czech Petra Kvitova, the No 7 seed, crushed Argentinian Nadia Podoroska 6-1, 6-1 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Berlin Open at Rot-Weiss Tennis Club on Wednesday evening.
Kvitova, ranked No 9, will play Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia, the No 3 seed, next.
The 33-year-old Czech won against Karolina Pliskova (6-3, 6-4) in the previous round of the Berlin tournament.
During the 32 of the Berlin tournament, Podoroska, ranked No 86, beat Spaniard Rebeka Masarova (3-6, 6-3, 6-2).
