Berlin Open: Kvitova into last 16, beats Pliskova in straight sets
Petra Kvitova won against Karolina Pliskova 6-3, 6-4 on Monday afternoon and will face the winner of the match between Argentinian Nadia Podoroska and Spaniard Rebeka Masarova in the next round

No 7 seed Petra Kvitova reached the last 16 of the Berlin Open by winning against Karolina Pliskova 6-3, 6-4 at Rot-Weiss Tennis Club on Monday afternoon.
Kvitova, ranked No 9, will face the winner of the match between Argentinian Nadia Podoroska and Spaniard Rebeka Masarova next.
