Berlin Open: Jabeur makes quarter-finals

Tunisian Ons Jabeur, the No 8 seed, moved into the last eight of the Berlin Open by edging out Linda Noskova 6-7 (5), 6-3, 6-4 at Rot-Weiss Tennis Club on Thursday.
Jabeur, ranked No 10, will face American Coco Gauff, the top seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, the Tunisian won against Chinese qualifier Xinyu Wang (6-4, 7-6 (4)).
Noskova, ranked No 28, edged out German wildcard Angelique Kerber (7-6 (4), 2-6, 6-4) in the previous round of the Berlin tournament.
