Tunisian Ons Jabeur, the No 8 seed, advanced to the last 16 of the Berlin Open by beating Chinese qualifier Xinyu Wang 6-4, 7-6 (4) at Rot-Weiss Tennis Club on Wednesday.
Jabeur, ranked No 10, will face Linda Noskova next.
