Elina Avanesyan edged out Daria Kasatkina 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (7) on Tuesday and will play the winner of the match between German qualifier Laura Siegemund and Russian Anna Blinkova in the next round
Lucky loser Elina Avanesyan edged out No 8 seed Daria Kasatkina 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (7) to move into the last 16 of the Berlin Open at Rot-Weiss Tennis Club on Tuesday.
Avanesyan, ranked No 81, will face the winner of the match between German qualifier Laura Siegemund and Russian Anna Blinkova next.
