Berlin Open: Andreescu sets up Pliskova showdown
Bianca Andreescu edged out Katerina Siniakova 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 on Monday to reach the second round of the Berlin Open

Former US Open champion Bianca Andreescu needed three sets to out Czech Katerina Siniakova and move into the second round of the Berlin Open at Rot-Weiss Tennis Club on Monday.
The Canadian won needed two hours and 29 minutes to win 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.
Andreescu, ranked No 69 in the world, will next meet fourth seed Karolina Pliskova next. Pliskova rebounded from a first set loss to beat Kaia Kanepi 6-7, 6-0, 6-0.
