Ekaterina Alexandrova defeated Liudmila Samsonova 6-4, 6-3 to move into the last 16 of the Berlin Open at Rot-Weiss Tennis Club on Tuesday evening.
Alexandrova, ranked No 22, will play the winner of the match between Czech Katerina Siniakova and American Coco Gauff, the No 5 seed, next.
