Linda Noskova edged out Angelique Kerber 7-6 (4), 2-6, 6-4 and will play the winner of the match between Xinyu Wang and Ons Jabeur in the next round

Linda Noskova advanced to the last 16 of the Berlin Open by edging out German wildcard Angelique Kerber 7-6 (4), 2-6, 6-4 at Rot-Weiss Tennis Club.
Noskova, ranked No 28, will face the winner of the match between Chinese qualifier Xinyu Wang and Tunisian Ons Jabeur, the No 8 seed, next.
