Second seed Jessica Bouzas Maneiro moved into the last four of the BBVA Open Internacional De Valencia by defeating No 7 seed Marina Bassols Ribera 5-7, 6-3, 6-2 on Friday evening, on clay.
Bouzas Maneiro, ranked No 87, will play Ann Li next.
Jessica Bouzas Maneiro won against Italian qualifier Nuria Brancaccio (7-6 (3), 6-4) and Slovenian Polona Hercog (6-1, 6-2) in the previous rounds.
Earlier in the tournament, Bassols Ribera, ranked No 109, won against Ukrainian Katarina Zavatska (6-4, 0-6, 6-3) and Australian lucky loser Seone Mendez (6-0, 6-3).
