Ukrainian Anastasiya Sobolieva reached the last 16 of the Barranquilla Open by beating Colombian wildcard Maria Paulina Perez Garcia 6-1, 6-0 on Monday night.
Sobolieva, ranked No 223, will play the winner of the match between Slovak qualifier Martina Okalova and Belgian Greet Minnen, the second seed, next.
