Barranquilla Open: Liang defeated by Sierra in second round
Sierra will play the winner of the match between American Varvara Lepchenko and Croat Antonia Ruzic in the next round

Argentine Solana Sierra won against qualifier En-Shuo Liang 6-4, 6-2 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Barranquilla Open on Wednesday.
Sierra, ranked No 165, will play the winner of the match between American Varvara Lepchenko and Croat Antonia Ruzic next.
The 20-year-old Argentinian beat Su Jeong Jang (3-6, 6-3, 6-2) ahead of her win today.
In the previous round, Liang, ranked No 291, won against Argentinian Maria Lourdes Carle, the No 3 seed (1-6, 7-6 (4), 6-2).
