Croat Antonia Ruzic moved into the last 16 of the Barranquilla Open (WTA 125) by winning against Colombian Emiliana Arango, the No 7 seed, 6-2, 6-4 on Tuesday.
Ruzic, ranked No 185, will face the winner of the match between American Varvara Lepchenko and Bulgarian Gergana Topalova next.
