Slovenian Tamara Zidansek, the No 5 seed, reached the last 16 of the Bari Open by winning against Latvian Darja Semenistaja 6-1, 2-6, 6-2 at Circolo Tennis Bari on Tuesday.
Zidansek, ranked No 118, will play Argentinian Maria Lourdes Carle next.
