Russian Evgeniya Rodina beat American lucky loser Katie Volynets 6-0, 6-4 to advance to the last 16 of the Bad Homburg Open at Bod Hombourg vor der Höhe on Sunday.
Rodina, ranked No 328, will face the winner of the match between Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto, the No 7 seed, and Czech Katerina Siniakova next.
