No 3 seed Emma Navarro advanced to the last eight of the Bad Homburg Open by winning against Peyton Stearns 6-4, 6-1 at the TC Bad Homburg on Wednesday afternoon.
Navarro, ranked No 19, will play the winner of the match between Russian Veronika Kudermetova and Dane wildcard Caroline Wozniacki next.
In the previous round of the Bad Homburg tournament, Emma Navarro beat Romanian qualifier Jaqueline Cristian (6-3, 6-1).
Stearns, ranked No 59, won against German lucky loser Julia Stusek (6-2, 7-5) during the 32 of the Bad Homburg tournament.
