Bad Homburg Open: Kudermetova advances to last 16

Russian Veronika Kudermetova defeated French qualifier Diane Parry 3-6, 7-5, 6-1 to move into the last 16 of the Bad Homburg Open at the Bad Hombourg vor der Höhe on Tuesday.

Kudermetova, ranked No 36, will face the winner of the match between Dane wildcard Caroline Wozniacki and Ukrainian Elina Svitolina, the No 7 seed, next.
